Fishing gear
rooted in family,
forged on the Gulf.

Three generations of clammers, commercial fishermen, and lifelong outdoorsmen from Cedar Key, Florida — curating rods, reels, tackle, and gear we'd stake our own name on. Because we do.

Gary & Sheila Hathcox

1943 — 2026 · 1949 — 2026

Married 57 years. A Vietnam veteran and retired Gainesville Fire Rescue Lieutenant. A Cedar Key High School Co-Salutatorian and Homecoming Queen who served the Levy County Clerk of Court for decades. Two lives rooted in faith, service, and the Gulf they loved so deeply.

This shop exists because of them. As Gary's grandson, I'm carrying on our family's lifelong connection to the water — the passion for fishing, conservation, and the outdoors they instilled in me is the foundation of everything we do here.

The Waters

Cedar Key & the Nature Coast

Shallow grass flats, oyster bars, tidal creeks, and the open Gulf. It's where we learned to read water, where we still test every piece of gear we sell, and where generations of our family have made their living.

Ask us about tides, seasons, or what's biting. We answer the phone because we're usually the ones on the dock cleaning the boat.
